Kerrville Urgent Care is a walk-in medical clinic that provides prompt attention to minor injuries and general illnesses. We will treat people ages 6 months and older for most nonemergent conditions, including strains, sprains, acute illnesses, minor lacerations, and simple fractures.
Kerrville Urgent Care is not a substitute for a hospital ER for many serious or life-threatening conditions. But, for less serious situations, the Kerrville Urgent Care clinic will deliver medical attention faster and at less cost.
Because we are a walk-in medical clinic that sees patients without an appointment, wait times will vary.
Yes. Kerrville Urgent Care accepts most health plans. You can see a list of many insurance plans we accept here. When you arrive, please be prepared to provide your health insurance information, so we can verify your coverage and file a claim for you.
Kerrville Urgent Care accepts Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express, Care Credit, and cash. Payment is due at the time of service, and we will collect insurance co-pays then.
Probably not. Medical staff will initially check your vitals and discuss the reason for your visit. If your visit is a result of illness or injury, any lab tests and/or x-rays required for a diagnosis will be ordered in our on-site facilities. We will discuss the results of these diagnostics with you and make treatment recommendations.
Kerrville Urgent Care does not refer patients, but can direct you for appropriate follow up care if you do not have an existing relationship with a primary care physician.
